Do I have to give a recorded statement to the insurance company in a Florida auto accident case?

It depends upon which insurance company you’re speaking of. If it’s your insurance company, it depends also on the policy and what that calls for. However, I caution you to contact an attorney immediately to help you, even with the recorded statement of your own insurance company, if it’s required.

Now, if it’s the insurance company of the at-fault driver, you’re not required to give a recorded statement, and I would also caution you to contact an attorney immediately such that attorney can decide whether or not you should give a recorded statement and assist you with those answers.
